EV Motors Japan, Inc. has formulated the following “General Business Owner Action Plan” based on the Law for Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation and the Law for the Promotion of Women’s Activities.
1. employer’s general action plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children
In order to create an employment environment in which employees can exercise their abilities and work comfortably in harmony with their work and private lives, we have established the following action plan.
1. plan period: 5 years from November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2029

Objective 1: To continuously work on reducing overtime hours and promoting the use of paid leave in order to realize a work-life balance.
<Details of efforts
Analyze overtime work, improve work processes, and eliminate “muri” (unreasonableness), “muda” (waste), and “mura” (unevenness) in order to improve efficiency.
Implement training in business skills, such as time management, to improve business skills.
Plan an annual schedule for paid vacations for each individual and department, create an environment that facilitates the use of paid vacations, and promote the systematic use of paid vacations.

Objective 2: Increase the ratio of male employees taking childcare leave to at least 50%.
<Contents of Efforts
Provide information on the childcare leave system to all employees and explain the system to them individually.
Conduct interviews to ensure appropriate work assignments when employees take childcare leave.

Objective 3: Enable employees engaged in specific jobs to work at home so that they can balance work and family life.

Identify work assignments that allow telecommuting and develop related systems.
Establish a mental health care support system for telecommuting.

In order to further promote an environment in which each and every one of our diverse employees, including women, can demonstrate their individuality and abilities, we have established the following action plan.

Objective 1: To achieve a work-life balance, continue efforts to reduce overtime hours and promote the use of paid leave.

To raise awareness of gender equality and diversity, conduct training on diversity and inclusion, etc., and eliminate gender bias.

Goal 3: Increase the percentage of male employees taking childcare leave to 50% or more.
